There is always something to do in ham radio. Elmers can work with you on just about anything your heart desires to know. From building antennas to constructing your own radios, repeaters or nodes!

You can be part of a vast emergency response team of communication when disaster strikes. Be a volunteer for R.A.C.E.S. (Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service) and/or A.R.E.S. (Amateur Radio Emergency Service). Be part of the communication team in marathons and other large events.
