Allstar Node for 18 Wheel Mobile

I started with the following equipment:

Baofeng UV-5R Radio (modified)
Raspberry Pi 3B+
CM108 Sound FOB
Hamvoip Image

I modified the Baofeng radio by removing the 2.5mm jack, the 3.5mm jack and the flash light. By removing the 2.5mm and 3.5mm jacks, I don’t have the shorting bars to the microphone and speaker to contend with.

I still have some cleanup to do to this node. But it is coming right along.

    Ron, I am trying to set up another node for allstar. I have the DMK URI, the Raspberry Pi3. I was planning to use the uv5r but the mod I tried did not work. I would appreciate any information you might have as to the mod and setup you are using on your system.
